The SloveniaCycling.com is an initiative taken by
Dami Zupi. SloveniaCycling.com highly values your privacy and always processes your personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the provisions of federal and Slovenian regulations on the protection of individuals when processing personal data.
1. Who are we and who is responsible for the processing activity?
SloveniaCycling.com is a web app based from Slovenia. We act as a controller for the personal data we process through your use of our website which connects to Strava API to get your cycling data and through the services that we provide on this website.
2. Why do we process your personal data and how long do we store it?
SloveniaCycling.com will process your personal data for the following purposes:
- We'll connect to Strava API to get your profile data (first & last name, location)
- We'll connect to Strava API to check your activities against our climbs (we don't save your activities)
- We'll ask for your email and if you provide one we'll send you automatic email updates (from which you can unsubscribe in profile)
2.1 OUR LEADERBOARD
You can participate in the Slovenia Climbing Challenge on our website. To be included in the Slovenia Climbing Challenge leaderboard (public leaderbord) you first must agree to share your data in your profile page. Then SloveniaCycling.com will process the following personal data:
- First, last name and the number of climbs climbed
SloveniaCycling.com will not use your personal data for other purposes than those described in this privacy notice.
3. Do we share your personal data with third parties?
We do not process & share your data with anyone apart from the reasons provided above.
4. How do we secure your personal data?
SloveniaCycling.com makes every effort to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access and other unwanted actions with your personal data. To this end, we implement appropriate technical and organizational measures so that the processing meets the requirements of national and European legislation. In the event of an unexpected incident involving your personal data, SloveniaCycling.com will always inform you in accordance with the legal provisions.
